Beirut: Council of Ministers' Secretary-General, Judge Mahmoud Makiya, announced this afternoon the new government line-up, consisting of 24 ministers. This announcement marks a significant step in forming the new government administration, with key positions filled by individuals entrusted with various ministerial responsibilities.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the list includes Tarek Mitri as Deputy Prime Minister, Michel Menassah as Minister of Defense, and Youssef Rajji as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants. Charles Hajj has been appointed as Minister of Tele-Communications, while Joseph Saddi will take on the role of Minister of Energy and Water.
Ahmed Al-Hajjar has been named Minister of Interior, with Adel Nassar as Minister of Justice and Yassin Jaber as Minister of Finance. The health sector will be overseen by Rakan Nassereddine, who has been appointed as Minister of Public Health. Ghassan Salemeh will serve as Minister of Culture, and Joe Issa Al-Khoury will be the new Minister of Industry.
The economic portfolio will be managed by Amer Al-Bsat, the new Minister of Economy and Trade, with Nizar Hani assuming the role of Minister of Agriculture. Paul Morcos will serve as Minister of Information, and Hanin Al-Sayed has been appointed as Minister of Social Affairs.
Fayez Rasamny will manage the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, while Kamal Shehadeh has been appointed as Minister of Displacement and Minister of State for Technology Affairs. The labor sector will be overseen by Mohamad Haider, who takes on the role of Minister of Labor.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports will be led by Nora Bayrakdarian, and Laura El Khazen Lahoud will serve as Minister of Tourism. Fadi Makki has been appointed as Minister of Administrative Development, with Rima Karameh taking on the role of Minister of Education and Higher Education. Finally, Tamara El-Zein has been named Minister of Environment.
