BEIRUT: A Royal Jordanian Air Force plane carrying relief aid landed at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport on Wednesday, marking the 12th such delivery by Jordan to assist Lebanon amidst its ongoing challenges. According to Jordan News Agency, the aid delivery was conducted under the directives of Jordan's Royal leadership, reflecting the Kingdom's sustained support for Lebanon. The aircraft was met by Jordan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Hadid, and Brig. Gen. Jamal Moukarzel, who represented the Lebanese Army Commander. In a statement to reporters, Moukarzel conveyed the Lebanese Army Command's gratitude to King Abdullah II for Jordan's continuous assistance to the Lebanese populace. Additionally, the return flight of the aid mission facilitated the repatriation of 50 Jordanian citizens and their companions from Beirut, following the delivery of the relief supplies.
