NNA Reports on Aitaroun Residents’ Return as Army Deploys

Aitaroun: The National News Agency followed up on the entry of the people of the town of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil district into their village since the early morning hours of Sunday, amidst the support of the Lebanese army.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, residents of the town walked behind the army units and entered to inspect their homes that were destroyed as a result of the Israeli aggression, which wreaked havoc and devastation in the town.

The town's mayor, Salim Murad, stated that the enemy withdrew from the town, leaving behind significant destruction. The damage targeted homes, roads, and infrastructure, including electricity and water networks, in addition to places of worship that were demolished. Murad emphasized that the resilient community of Aitaroun would begin working together with loyalists to start rebuilding what was destroyed. He also paid tribute to the martyrs who defended the land and welcomed the army's entry into the town.
