OIC Denounces Terror Attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries

ANKARA: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, has condemned a terrorist attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries in Ankara that resulted in multiple casualties. The attack left five people dead, including the attackers, and injured 14 others, with three reported to be in critical condition. According to Kuwait News Agency, the OIC Secretary-General described the attack as "heinous" and extended condolences to the families affected, as well as to the government and citizens of Turkiye. Taha expressed hopes for the swift recovery of those injured and reiterated the OIC's support for Turkiye in its ongoing fight against terrorism. Turkish Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya provided details of the incident, confirming the death toll and the number of injured. The attack has intensified concerns over security and the persistent threat of terrorism in the region.
