Oil Prices Surge in Lebanon Amid Economic Challenges


Beirut: The prices of 95-octane and 98-octane gasoline in Lebanon increased by LBP 3,000 on Tuesday, with diesel going up by LBP 2,000 and gas by LBP 6,000. The new prices have been set as follows: 95-octane gasoline now costs LBP 1,492,000, 98-octane gasoline is LBP 1,532,000, diesel is priced at LBP 1,405,000, and gas is LBP 1,097,000.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, this rise in fuel prices comes amid ongoing economic challenges in Lebanon, impacting consumers and businesses alike. The adjustments in fuel prices reflect ongoing changes in the global oil market and local economic conditions. The increase in prices is expected to have ripple effects on various sectors, including transportation and manufacturing, affecting the cost of goods and services in the country.
