Beirut: Oil prices in Lebanon increased today, with notable rises across all categories. Gasoline (95 and 98 octane) rose by LBP 50,000, diesel by LBP 101,000, and gas cylinders by LBP 28,000.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the new prices are as follows: 95 octane gasoline is now priced at LBP 2,364,000, while 98 octane gasoline is set at LBP 2,405,000. Diesel has seen a significant increase, now costing LBP 2,295,000. Additionally, gas cylinders are priced at LBP 1,868,000.
This rise in fuel prices is expected to impact various sectors and daily living costs in Lebanon, as fuel is a crucial commodity influencing transportation and production expenses. The increase in diesel prices, in particular, may have broader implications given its widespread use in power generation and industrial activities throughout the country.
