Oman to Send 40 Tons of Aid to Lebanon Amid Conflict


BEIRUT: Under the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Oman Charitable Organization will dispatch a plane carrying 40 tons of medicines and humanitarian aid to Beirut on October 14, 2024, as announced by Lebanon’s Ambassador to Oman, Albert Samaha.

According to National News Agency-Lebanon, the initiative is a gesture from the government of the Sultanate of Oman toward the Lebanese government and its people in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon. Ambassador Samaha conveyed the Lebanese Embassy and community’s profound gratitude to His Majesty for his generous humanitarian support during this challenging period. He praised the Sultanate’s consistent solidarity with Lebanon in times of crisis.

The aid delivery underscores Oman’s role in regional humanitarian efforts and reflects its longstanding commitment to supporting nations in distress.
