Beirut: Internal Security Forces chief, Major General Imad Othman, on Tuesday received in his office the European Union's Ambassador to Lebanon, Sandra De Waele. The meeting also included a delegation from the mission, comprising Head of Political and Press Affairs, Alexandre Jully, and the Deputy Head of Cooperation, Cyril Dewaleine. Discussions reportedly focused on the general situation in the country. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting aimed at addressing current developments and strengthening cooperation between the Internal Security Forces and the European Union. The dialogue underscored the importance of collaboration in ensuring stability and addressing the challenges faced by the country. Ambassador De Waele expressed the EU's commitment to supporting Lebanon through various initiatives.
