Pakistani Relief Plane Brings Aid to Lebanon Amid Ongoing Crisis

Beirut: A Pakistani aircraft loaded with aid, relief, and medical supplies landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut today, marking the second such delivery from Pakistan in recent days. The arrival of the plane was attended by Lebanese MPs Fadi Alameh and Bilal Abdallah, Pakistan's Ambassador to Lebanon Salman Atahari, and Major General Mohammad Khair, the Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the aid delivered today is part of an ongoing effort to provide food and essential supplies to shelter centers in Lebanon. A total of approximately 500 tons of aid are expected to be sent from Pakistan this week. This gesture of support has been met with gratitude from Lebanese officials, who have emphasized the strong ties between the two nations. The MPs expressed their appreciation for Pakistan's assistance, noting it as a testament to the deepening relationship between Lebanon and Pakistan and voicing hope for reciprocal support in times of need . Pakistan's Ambassador, Salman Atahari, reiterated his country's commitment to Lebanon, affirming that Pakistan will continue to support Lebanon during challenging times. He emphasized Pakistan's unwavering support for Lebanon's sovereignty and the rights of the Lebanese people to peace and security. The delivery today brings the total aid from Pakistan to Lebanon to 117 tons, with additional supplies expected in the following days, highlighting Pakistan's ongoing commitment to aiding Lebanon amid its continuing crisis.
