Palestinian Killed, 10 Injured in Israel’s Ongoing Onslaught on Jenin City and Camp

Jenin: A Palestinian man was killed, and 10 others were injured, during the ongoing Israeli aggression in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Ministry of Health. The ministry explained in a brief statement that a man was killed and 10 others with varying wounds were taken to Ibn Sina, Al-Amal, and Al-Shifa hospitals.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the director of Jenin Governmental Hospital, Wissam Bakr, stated that among the casualties was a doctor who sustained a minor injury near Al-Amal Hospital. Bakr emphasized that several other injuries were transferred to the city's hospitals, but he has not yet confirmed the exact number due to the rapidly unfolding events in the governorate.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes are participating in the aggression on the city and its camp, storming with a large number of military vehicles from the al-Jalameh military checkpoint, shortly after special forces were discovered in the al-Jabarat neighborhood. The sources further explained that the occupation forces are currently besieging a house in Jenin camp.

There are reports of injuries in several areas and neighborhoods, with two described as serious. The raid coincided with Israeli drones bombing an empty vehicle near Al-Zahraa School in the vicinity of Jenin camp. No injuries were reported from this incident. Apache helicopters were also noted to have fired bullets into the skies of Jenin refugee camp.

Occupation soldiers deployed snipers in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood of Jenin camp and opened heavy fire at citizens. Eyewitnesses reported an injury in Al-Damj neighborhood in the camp. The occupation army announced it had launched an onslaught on the city of Jenin.

Since yesterday, the occupation forces have been installing iron gates at the entrances leading to several towns and villages across the West Bank, turning them into isolated areas. This action has restricted the movement of local residents and imposed collective punishment against them.
