Beirut: The General Secretariat of the Parliament has released the schedule for non-binding parliamentary consultations that the Prime Minister-designate, Nawaf Salam, will conduct in Parliament at Nejmeh Square on Wednesday and Thursday, January 15 and 16.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the consultations are scheduled in response to the statement from the General Directorate of the Presidency of the Republic, which designated Nawaf Salam to form the next government. The detailed schedule specifies the time slots for discussions with various parliamentary blocs and independent MPs.
On January 15, consultations will begin at 10:00 am with House Speaker Nabih Berri, followed by Vice Speaker Elias Bou Saab at 10:20 am. The session will continue with meetings involving the Change Alliance Bloc, Democratic Gathering Bloc, Independent Consultative Gathering, and several other parliamentary groups, concluding with the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc at 5:45 pm.
The following day, January 16, is reserved for consultations with Independent MPs, starting at 10:00 am with Jamil Al Sayed and proceeding through a series of meetings until 6:30 pm with Michel Murr. The sessions are part of the procedural steps towards forming a new government, as mandated by the parliamentary process.
