Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Thursday, received at the Grand Serail, the Charg© d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Beirut, Keith Hanigan. Discussions reportedly covered bilateral relations and US support for the army and internal security forces, as well as the situation in south Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting underscored the importance of continued cooperation between Lebanon and the United States in bolstering the capabilities of the Lebanese army and internal security forces. The discussions also touched upon the current circumstances in south Lebanon, highlighting the regional and international dimensions of the ongoing challenges.
