PM Nawaf Salam Engages in Discussions with Key Delegations and Dutch Ambassador

Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam engaged in a series of meetings at the Grand Serail, receiving Bishop Cesar Essayan, delegations from the Union of Private Schools in Lebanon, the Judges Club, and the University of Balamand. The Prime Minister also discussed bilateral ties with the Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Prime Minister's meeting with Bishop Cesar Essayan, the Apostolic Vicar of Beirut for the Latins, included an exchange of Eid well-wishes. Bishop Essayan expressed his support for the government and its tenure during their conversation.

The Prime Minister subsequently welcomed a delegation from the Union of Private Educational Institutions in Lebanon. Father Youssef Nasr, speaking on behalf of the delegation, shared that their discussions with Dr. Salam covered various topics and demands concerning the educational sector. They particularly focused on the recovery plan for schools and institutions, an essential need following the war and recent aggression.

Dr. Salam also met with a delegation from the Judges Club, led by Judge Najat Abu Shakra, who presented a memorandum outlining the judges' demands and conditions to the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, a delegation from the University of Balamand, headed by the University's President, Dr. Elias Warrak, met with the Prime Minister. Dr. Warrak stated that the university is ready to offer its capabilities to assist the Prime Minister and ministries in technical and scientific matters.

The Prime Minister's engagements concluded with a meeting with Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, Frank Mollen, where they discussed existing bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance them.
