Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, held significant meetings at the Grand Serail with prominent figures including the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders and the head of the Supreme Disciplinary Authority.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Dr. Nawaf Salam received Counselor Mohammed Abdelsalam, the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, who was accompanied by a delegation from the Council. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri. Discussions during the meeting focused on the current status and operations of the Muslim Council of Elders.
In a separate meeting, Prime Minister Salam also engaged with Judge Rita Ghantous, the head of the Supreme Disciplinary Authority. During this meeting, Judge Ghantous presented a comprehensive report detailing the work of the Authority from the years 2017 to 2024.
