Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Monday received US Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, with whom he discussed the latest developments in the region, and preparations for the upcoming meeting scheduled to take place in Washington later this week.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Premier Salam stressed "the need to exert pressure on Israel to halt the ongoing attacks and violations, in order to consolidate the ceasefire."
