PM Office Launches Website to Track Government Project Progress

AMMAN: The Prime Minister's Office has launched a new website aimed at providing the public with regular updates on the progress of government-approved projects across Jordan's various governorates. The initiative is part of a broader governmental effort to enhance transparency and collaboration with local councils and civil authorities. According to Jordan News Agency, the website's launch comes on the heels of a pilot initiative in Karak last week, aligning with the government's development vision. The platform will offer updates on project statuses, including completion rates and the estimated costs of upcoming initiatives. Currently, it includes summaries of the Prime Minister's weekly field tours to 14 service, production, social, and youth sites across four governorates, detailing the government's actions following each visit. As the Cabinet holds meetings in different regions, the Prime Ministry plans to expand the website's content to include projects from other governorates. The site will categoriz e projects by ministry, highlighting completed, ongoing, and future projects, along with pertinent statistics. During a press conference, Minister of Government Communication, Mohammed Momani, underscored the government's commitment to ensuring transparency through a robust follow-up mechanism, with updates made available periodically. The public is encouraged to visit the website for detailed reports on the progress of Cabinet meetings and the Prime Minister's tours.
