PM Salam Discusses Government Formation With Derian

Beirut: After meeting with the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, at Dar al-Fatwa on Thursday, Prime Minister-designate, Nawaf Salam, stated, "The visit was an opportunity to discuss national affairs and check on his health. I briefed him on the progress of government formation and what has been achieved so far. I assured him that I am doing everything in my power to expedite the process. I also listened to his national insights and wisdom, which serve as a guiding compass for us."
