Police Respond to Shooting Incident Near Turkish Hospital in Tubas

Tubas: Police spokesman, Colonel Louay Erziqat, confirmed a response by the Explosives Engineering Department and security services to reports of suspicious objects near the Turkish Hospital in Tubas, which posed potential risks to public safety. The situation escalated when the responding force came under direct gunfire from individuals identified as outlaws. According to Maan News Agency, while managing the suspicious objects, the police faced an attack from gunmen. The security forces successfully pursued the attackers, apprehending one suspect after a chase. The other suspect, however, took refuge in a house and continued firing at the officers. The situation was resolved through negotiations involving the suspect's family, leading to the individual's eventual surrender without any reported injuries. The police have urged the public to trust official sources for information and to refrain from spreading unverified rumors, particularly those circulating on Telegram channels.
