NNA – Holy Father, Pope Francis emphasized that “Evil and death cannot have the final word on the path of life”.
“Having faith in resurrection puts the power of conversion, in our hearts, in order to build a better world” the Pope said.
Moreover, the Supreme Pontiff reiterated his prayers that “The spirit of wisdom supports the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, and his assistants, illuminating their ways to lead Lebanon along the paths of peace, freedom and joy”.
Stances of the Pope came through a letter sent to the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, in response to the message previously sent, on the occasion of Resurrection.
In the letter, Pope Francis also asserted his full solidarity with “The beloved Lebanon”, entrusting Lebanon to the care of the Virgin Mary, seizing this occasion to bestow his apostolic blessings to the entire Lebanese people.—Presidency Press Office
