According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Hajjar emphasized the significance of the Pope's visit, stating that it reinforces the message of unity among the Lebanese people. He noted that Lebanon, known as the land of the cedars and a meeting place for various religions and civilizations, warmly welcomes His Holiness.
Al-Hajjar expressed his hope that Pope Leo XIV's visit would serve as a source of hope, convergence, and peace for all Lebanese, encouraging them to overcome the challenges they face together in unity.
