President Aoun, First Lady Bound for Rome to Attend First Papal Mass of Pope Leo XIV

Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and First Lady Nehmat Aoun, left Beirut today heading to the Italian capital, Rome, to attend the first papal mass of Pope Leo XIV, which will be held tomorrow in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the visit by President Aoun and the First Lady marks an important diplomatic engagement with the Vatican. Their attendance at the inaugural mass of Pope Leo XIV underscores the strong ties and mutual respect between Lebanon and the Holy See.
