Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, discussed with the Director General of State Security, Major General Edgar Lawandos, the security situation in the country and the tasks carried out by the Directorate, particularly in the field of combating corruption in public administrations and institutions.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting emphasized the ongoing efforts to address security challenges and improve governance. Major General Lawandos briefed President Aoun on the recent initiatives aimed at curbing corruption and enhancing transparency within various public sectors.
