Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday welcomed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at Baabda Palace, where they held a bilateral meeting, followed by an expanded one, with the participation of the official Lebanese and Palestinian delegations.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting aimed to discuss the ongoing relations between Lebanon and Palestine, focusing on strengthening diplomatic ties and addressing mutual concerns. The leaders addressed various regional issues and explored avenues for cooperation between the two nations.
The expanded meeting included discussions with official delegations from both countries, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration. This meeting marks a significant step in reinforcing the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Palestine.
