President Joseph Aoun Receives 2025 Anti-Corruption Report to Boost Public Trust

Baabda: President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun received this afternoon at Baabda Palace the President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Judge Claude Karam, along with Vice President Dr. Fawaz Kabbara and members Dr. Therese Allawi, Dr. Kleib Kleib, and Dr. Ali Badran.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Judge Karam presented President Aoun with the Commission's 2025 annual report, expressing hope that the necessary support would be provided to the body. President Aoun thanked the delegation for the report and the accompanying explanations, affirming his support for the Commission's work, which aligns with his repeated calls for combating corruption, as outlined in his inaugural address. He stressed that corruption is among the main factors hindering the country's development.

President Aoun emphasized that Lebanon is looking forward to such achievements, which contribute to strengthening citizens' confidence in the state, its institutions, and its public administrations.
