Beirut: President Joseph Aoun on Monday affirmed to a delegation of Francophone ambassadors that "Lebanon has always been and will remain a bridge between East and West. The French language, as the country's second language after Arabic, represents culture, dialogue, modernity, and values."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun's remarks were made during a meeting with the ambassadors.
