A number of protesting citizens on Tuesday blocked the road at the Lebanese University intersection in Sidon with trash containers after setting them on fire, in protest against the increasing power cuts by subscription generator owners due to the exhaustion of diesel fuel.
Meanwhile, the Southern coastal city has been witnessing daily movements by protesters who have been cutting off main and internal roads due to the aggravation of the electricity crisis and the unavailability of diesel fuel for subscription generators.
