Baabda: Caretaker Public Health Minister, Dr. Firas Abiad, and Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jos© Manuel Albares Bueno, toured Baabda Governmental Hospital. They were accompanied by the Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesus Santos Aguado, and the hospital director, Farid Sabbagh.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the inspection tour, Minister Abiad expressed gratitude to Spain for its support to Lebanon's healthcare sector, particularly during the challenging times the country has faced recently. Dr. Abiad acknowledged the role of Spain, along with the European Union, in consistently supporting the Lebanese health system.
The Spanish Foreign Minister reiterated his country's commitment to continuing its support for Lebanon, focusing on the healthcare sector to enhance and improve the medical services available to citizens.
