Qatar’s Amir Engages with Iran’s Security Council Secretary on Regional Cooperation

Doha: Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, at the Amiri Diwan. The meeting marked Dr. Larijani's visit to Qatar.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions centered around enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Iran, focusing on regional developments and efforts to reduce tensions. The leaders also addressed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The meeting included Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and several senior Qatari officials. The Iranian delegation featured Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Dr. Ali Bagheri, Assistant Foreign Minister Alibek, and other senior officials.
