Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Monday received the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, who presented him with a copy of his credentials. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the overall situation in Lebanon. Minister Raggi wished Ambassador Issa success in his diplomatic mission. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting between Minister Raggi and Ambassador Issa took place in a formal setting where diplomatic protocols were observed. Ambassador Issa assumes his role during a period marked by significant challenges facing Lebanon, including economic and political issues. The discussions between the two officials are expected to lay the groundwork for future cooperation and dialogue between Lebanon and the United States.
