Bkerki: Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi, on Wednesday welcomed Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, at the patriarchal headquarters in Bkerki.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ambassador Bukhari offered Patriarch Rahi Eid well-wishes. During their meeting, the two leaders reportedly discussed the latest developments at both local and regional levels. A key topic of discussion was the visit of the Saudi envoy, Prince Yazid bin Farhan, who is in charge of the Lebanese dossier. Prince Yazid's visit to Lebanon is aimed at meeting with Lebanese officials.
Ambassador Bukhari reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's continued support for Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of preserving Lebanon's historic role in the region.
