Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji, held a significant meeting on Tuesday with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Herv© Magro. The discussions encompassed the current situation in Lebanon, recent developments in Syria, and the outcomes of Rajji's visits to Riyadh, Cairo, and Amman.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting also addressed France's efforts in supporting Lebanon, specifically concerning the reconstruction challenges the country faces. Minister Rajji emphasized the importance of exerting pressure on Israel to ensure its immediate and unconditional withdrawal from Lebanese territories and to cease its violations of Lebanese sovereignty.
On the matter of Syria, Rajji highlighted that maintaining the unity, stability, and territorial integrity of Syria aligns with Lebanese interests. Ambassador Magro reaffirmed France's steadfast commitment to supporting Lebanon and aiding it through its ongoing crises.
In a separate engagement, Minister Rajji received the credentials of Nguyen Huy Dung, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Lebanon.
