Ramses and Gold of Pharaohs exhibition in Paris attracts over 800,000 visitors


The “Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition in the French capital Paris attracted more than 800,000 visitors from April 7 to September 10, announced the event’s organizers on Tuesday12/9/2023.



In a press statement released on Tuesday12/9/2023, the organizers said the exhibition, which began its international tour in the US cities of Houston and San Francisco before concluding in Paris, lured nearly 817,000 visitors from France, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.



The Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs exhibition is a once-in-a-lifetime installation where visitors can explore the life and accomplishments of one of the most remarkable and celebrated rulers of ancient history, the Pharaoh Ramses II, dubbed Ramses the Great.



Displaying more than 180 dazzling Egyptian artefacts, the touring exhibition features exquisite sculptures, precious treasures, and state-of-the-art multimedia reproductions that demonstrate the opulence and beauty of ancient Egyptian civilization.
