Rasamni: Public Works Minister Fayez Rasamni stressed that ongoing efforts to enhance and develop public transportation aim to establish it as a reliable and trusted choice for citizens.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Rasamni noted that the sector is witnessing a period of rapid expansion, with the introduction of new buses and the opening of new lanes covering more cities across the country, making public transportation an essential pillar of daily life.
Emphasizing concern for passenger comfort and service regulation, Rasamni underscored that the shared transportation system is based on clear organizational standards and fixed preventive measures, aimed at providing passengers with a safe, smooth, and reassuring experience.
The minister pointed out that all buses operating within the public transportation network are equipped with modern monitoring systems.
Finally, he stressed that the ministry will hold all rioters and trespassers accountable in a manner that serves as a deterrent to any actions that could harm this vital public facility.
