Rasamny Engages in Diplomatic Talks with Kuwaiti Ambassador and IOM Official

Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Friday met with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Sultan Al Shargi, to discuss developments in Lebanon and the region, along with ways to strengthen bilateral ties.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Rasamny expressed gratitude to Kuwait for its ongoing support to Lebanon, especially during challenging times, and wished Ambassador Al Shargi success in his new diplomatic role. The ambassador emphasized the strength of the Lebanese-Kuwaiti relationship and reiterated his country's commitment to expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Rasamny also met with Matthew Luciano, the former head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) office in Lebanon, for a farewell visit marking the conclusion of his tenure. Rasamny thanked Luciano for his efforts and reaffirmed the importance of continued collaboration with the organization.
