Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Wednesday held a series of meetings at his office, focusing on regional development and infrastructure priorities.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Rasamny met with MP Sajih Attieh, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Works, Transport, Energy, and Water, to discuss current developments and critical projects in North Lebanon. The meeting emphasized the rehabilitation and maintenance of roads in Akkar and the reactivation of Ren© Moawad Airport in Qlayaat, recognized for its economic and developmental significance to the region.
The Minister also received MP Michel Elias Murr, with whom he discussed several development files concerning the Metn district. Talks with MP Michel Moawad, head of the Independence Movement, covered both political developments and regional infrastructure concerns.
Earlier, Rasamny met with former MPs Tarek El-Merhebi and Ibrahim Azar, with whom he reviewed public service and development matters overseen by the ministry.
