Beirut: Rebirth Beirut announced its upcoming solo exhibition entitled 'Curves' by Nabil Richani and curated by Dr. Tony Karam, opening on November 6, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Rebirth Beirut's Cultural Space in Gemmayze.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Nabil Richani, known for his work with wood, stone, bronze, and other raw materials, creates sculptures that narrate beauty through motion, form, and emotion. His artistic journey began early, evolving from crafting shapes from garden soil to producing clay sculptures and oil paintings. Richani, born in 1960, holds a Master's degree in Agriculture/ Floriculture from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University. He has participated in both solo and collective exhibitions and was commissioned by the Saloua Raouda Choucair Foundation to execute sculptural pieces for a museum.
Richani's work has been recognized for conveying inner life and animating spaces through light and shadow. In 'Curves,' he presents sculptures inspired by the feminine form and the unseen layers of the human spirit, celebrating the mystery and grace of existence.
Gaby Fernaine, Founder and President of Rebirth Beirut, expressed pride in hosting the exhibition, emphasizing art's power for healing and rebuilding. Proceeds from the event will support Rebirth Beirut's efforts to restore and rehabilitate the city's infrastructure, mainly lighting the streets.
Opening night is scheduled for November 6, 2025, with the exhibition running from November 7 to November 15, 2025. Visitors can explore the works daily from 2 PM to 7 PM, except on Sundays, at the Rebirth Beirut Space on Gouraud Street, Gemmayze.
