Marjeyoun: The Lebanese Red Cross transferred 5 bodies today from Wata al-Khiam and will continue its mission to recover the remaining bodies on Monday. There are still 15 Lebanese martyrs and a Syrian martyr under the rubble. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the operation began earlier today, as teams worked meticulously to retrieve the bodies from the site. The recovery efforts are part of an ongoing mission to ensure that all individuals are accounted for and that the community can begin the process of mourning and healing. The Red Cross has coordinated closely with local authorities to carry out the recovery in a safe and respectful manner. Efforts are being made to ensure that all remaining bodies are recovered as soon as possible, with the mission set to resume on Monday.
