Beirut: The "Renewal Bloc" has put forward Nawaf Salam as their candidate for the position of prime minister during the binding parliamentary consultations held at Baabda Palace on Monday. This move is part of the ongoing efforts to designate a new prime minister for the country.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the bloc, which is composed of Members of Parliament Michel Moawad, Ashraf Rifi, and Fouad Makhzoumi, has come together to support Salam's candidacy. The nomination is a significant step in the political process as Lebanon seeks to establish stable governance amid its challenging circumstances.
