Baghdad / NINA /- The Israeli army confirmed this evening, Thursday, that several rockets were fired from Lebanon at Israel, amid the latter’s continuing intensive bombing campaign against the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adrai, said, via Twitter, that “three rockets were detected from inside Lebanon towards the sea off the shores of the Galilee,” adding that “the warning was not activated according to the established policy.”
The Israeli army confirmed in a separate statement that the rockets did not cause any damage or injuries.
He explained that the rockets fell in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea off the northern coast of Israel. / End
