Batroun: Race Driver Roger Feghali, alongside co-pilot Joseph Matar, triumphed at the debut Batroun Rally driving a Toyota GR Yaris. The event was organized by the Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon (ATCL) in collaboration with the Batroun Municipality. This two-day race in the Batroun district marked the third stage of the current year's Lebanese Rally Championship, following the earlier Spring and Jezzine Rallies.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the rally encompassed a total race distance of 163.57 km, featuring 92.17 km spread over seven special stages. Elias Dahni and his navigator Thierry Rouhana finished in second place driving a Skoda Fabia, while Rabih Ayoub and his navigator George Nader secured third place, also in a Skoda Fabia.
Feghali showcased dominance from the outset, starting with the demonstration stage on Batroun's southern streets, setting the fastest time, and maintaining a steady advancement throughout the stages. The rally saw participation from 21 vehicles and was held under hot summer conditions, drawing significant attention from rally enthusiasts on the special stages.
With this victory, Feghali and Matar further cemented their standing with an impressive record of achievements.
