Tunisian President Kais Saied announced on Wednesday that the presidential election would be held on October sixth, 2024. A presidential statement said that a decree was announced and issued in the official government gazette. Those living abroad could cast their vote on October four, five, and sixth, added the statement. The country's supreme election committee said campaigns would be launched on September 13 until election silence day on October 5, adding that submitting nominations would occur late July. Conditions for nomination includes being a Tunisian citizen with no duel citizenship, being 40 years of age or above. Source: Kuwait News Agency
