Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Tuesday engaged with a delegation of Arab tribes from Khaldeh and Saadiyat at the Grand Serail. The delegation, led by Sheikh Talal Al-Daher, expressed concerns over the Khaldeh incident and discussed broader developmental and social issues. They stressed the importance of justice and fairness in handling the case and commended Prime Minister Salam's dedication to upholding the rule of law. Salam reassured the delegation of his commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining civil peace in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Prime Minister Salam also met with retired Brigadier General Georges Nader, where he expressed gratitude for the contributions of military veterans. He highlighted the necessity of fair treatment for all sectors within a feasible reform framework. This meeting underscored the government's recognition of the sacrifices made by military personnel and its commitment to equitable policies.
Later in the day, Salam welcomed a delegation from the Kafa'at Foundation. The discussion focused on the organization's efforts and the challenges faced by persons with disabilities in Lebanon. This engagement highlighted the Prime Minister's ongoing interest in addressing social issues and supporting vulnerable communities in the country.
