Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Monday received a joint delegation from Al-Makassid Philanthropic Association in Beirut and Saida, led by Dr. Faisal Snow and Fayez Al-Bezri. The delegation extended Ramadan greetings to Salam, the government, and the Lebanese people, wishing for security, stability, and prosperity. Discussions focused on educational initiatives, joint cooperation between the two societies, and preserving and developing Al-Maqasid's institutions across Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, members of the Makassid Philanthropic Association emphasized promoting Islamic values, ethical conduct, coexistence, moderation, and national belonging. Salam praised their efforts, highlighting their historic role in Lebanese society, and addressed the country's economic, social, and national challenges.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen collaboration between the Prime Minister's Office and the Al-Maqasid societies to achieve common objectives.
