Beirut: The media office of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a statement on Thursday categorically denying claims published by 'Kalima Online' concerning an alleged meeting between Prime Minister Salam and Hussein Khalil, who serves as the political aide to Hezbollah's Secretary-General.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the statement from the Prime Minister's office emphasized that the report is "entirely fabricated and baseless." It further clarified that "no such meeting has taken place between Prime Minister Salam and any Hezbollah official" since the visit of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc to the Grand Serail. Additionally, the statement stressed that the content attributed to this alleged meeting is also fictitious and did not occur in any previous encounter.
