Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with CMA CGM Group Chairman and CEO Rodolphe Saade at his office in the Grand Serail. The meeting was attended by Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny, Beirut Port Chairman and General Manager Marwan Nafi, and the group's General Manager for Lebanon and the Near East, Joe Daccache.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting followed Salam's involvement in the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion project of the container terminal at the Port of Beirut. This project is seen as a significant development for enhancing the port's capacity and efficiency.
During the meeting, the delegation presented Prime Minister Salam with a commemorative plaque, marking the occasion and underscoring the importance of the collaboration between the Lebanese government and CMA CGM Group.
