Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received a delegation from the Syndicate of Food Importers at the Grand Serail, with Finance Minister Yassin Jaber and Economy and Trade Minister Amer Al-Bisat in attendance. The meeting focused on the current state of food supplies and import operations.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation assured that all food items are currently available in the markets at usual quantities, and import operations are proceeding without disruption. This assurance comes amidst concerns about potential supply chain issues.
Prime Minister Salam emphasized his commitment to facilitating the entry of goods through various facilities. He plans to instruct relevant parties to expedite procedures, ensuring a smooth flow of products into the markets.
