Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday met with a delegation from the "Kulluna Irada" association headed by Wafaa Saab at the Grand Serail. Following the meeting, executive director Diana Moukalled said the group expressed full support for Salam regarding direct negotiations and the government's plans to place weapons exclusively under state authority and reinforce state sovereignty.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, discussions focused on negotiations expected in two days, developments related to the implementation of a demilitarised Beirut plan and the state's humanitarian response amid worsening social conditions. Moukalled stressed the group's commitment to the state and its institutions, describing them as the only umbrella capable of protecting all citizens in the coming phase.
