Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held a meeting on Sunday with the head of the Council of the South, Hashem Haidar, and the head of the Disaster Management Unit at the Grand Serail, Zahi Shahin, in the presence of Finance Minister Yassin Jaber and Social Affairs Minister Hanin Al-Sayed. Discussions focused on coordinating relief and response efforts amidst the current difficult circumstances.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting aimed at streamlining the efforts of various government bodies to ensure a cohesive approach to disaster management and relief operations. The discussions revolved around enhancing communication channels and ensuring the availability of resources for efficient response to emergencies.
