Mukhtara: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his wife, Sahar Baassiri, paid a visit to the shrine of Martyr Kamal Jumblatt in Mukhtara this afternoon to commemorate the 48th anniversary of his martyrdom.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Prime Minister and his wife were received by former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt, Democratic Gathering head, MP Taymour Jumblatt, and Mrs. Nora, Dalia, and Diana Jumblatt.
The visit included reciting the Fatiha and laying a floral wreath at the shrine. Following this, Salam and Jumblatt proceeded to the Mukhtara Palace Library, where they held a meeting to mark the solemn occasion.
