Salameh Broaches Developments, Bilateral Cultural Relations with Algerian Ambassador

Beirut: Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, on Thursday received in his office at the National Library - Sanayeh, Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Kamal Bouchama, who came on a courtesy visit. The pair reportedly discussed local, regional and international developments, in addition to the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the cultural ones, and the means to strengthen them.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions between Dr. Salameh and Ambassador Bouchama were focused on enhancing the existing cultural ties between Lebanon and Algeria. Both parties expressed a mutual interest in promoting cultural exchange programs and collaborative initiatives that could benefit both nations.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy as a means to foster understanding and cooperation in other areas of bilateral relations. Dr. Salameh emphasized the role of culture in building bridges between Lebanon and Algeria, while Ambassador Bouchama reaffirmed Algeria's commitment to supporting cultural collaborations with Lebanon.

Additionally, the conversation touched upon the broader regional and international developments, with both officials acknowledging the importance of maintaining dialogue and cooperation in the face of global challenges.
